What is family medicine?

Family medicine is a specialty dedicated to the comprehensive healthcare for patients of all ages, genders, and diseases. Family physicians are considered a division of primary care and emphasize disease prevention and health promotion.

These physicians offer lifelong support and care for their patients, are oftentimes your first point of contact with the healthcare system, and are experts in diagnosing and treating the whole person.

At the Adelaide Health Clinic, we offer full spectrum Family Medicine services for acute and chronic care, both in-person and virtually.
