What is active release techniques?

Active release techniques (ART) is a hands-on manual therapy method focused on the targeted manipulation of doft tissues, including muscles, tendons, ligaments, and fascia. ART aims to alleviate pain, improve flexibility, and enhance the overall function of the musculoskeletal system.

The therapists at the Adelaide Health Clinic may use ART to address a variety of musculoskeletal issues to enhance patients' athletic performance and range of motion, as well as incorporating it into rehabilitation programs to aid in the recovery process following sports injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions.
