Dr. George Pallikaras is a Family Physician holding licensure in both Canada and the United States. He is a member of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, the College of Family Physicians of Canada, and the American Academy of Family Physicians. Additionally, he is a Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada and a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine.
After obtaining his Honors Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto with a double major in Biology and Human Physiology he decided to pursue a career in medicine. Dr. Pallikaras chose to study abroad for his medical training and recently moved back to Canada after completing his Family Medicine Residency at Indiana University School of Medicine. His medical training was marked with many unique experiences, including work experience in Hawaii and rural China to provide medical care to hundreds of children in a local orphanage.
Travel medicine and cosmetic procedural medicine are among the medical interests of Dr. Pallikaras, and he plans to obtain certification in the near future. Outside of medicine, he holds a black belt in karate and is an avid sports fan who continues to stay physically active whenever possible.
