| Our Naturopath, Dr. Selene Wilkinson, earned her Bachelors degree in Sociology from the University of Western Ontario and her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Wilkinson has also earned her accreditation in Doula training from the Doulas of North America in 2007 and in Homeopathy from The Toronto School of Homeopathy in 2001. Dr. Wilkinson’s professional affiliations include: The Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors, The Association of Perinatal Naturopathic Doctors (APND), and is registered with the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy.
Dr. Wilkinson has almost 7 years experience in the financial world as a marketing executive for various fund management companies. However, her passion for treating and educating the public on health and well-being led her to the field of Naturopathic Medicine and the development of her own brand and company known as Lemonwater Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Wilkinson has treated an extensive variety of conditions ranging from infertility to diabetes as well as a large demographic of patients from pediatrics to seniors. Over the years, Dr. Wilkinson has developed a strong clinical experience with women’s health, fertility and hormonal issues. Dr. Wilkinson uses an integrative approach of incorporating a wide variety of treatment modalities such as acupuncture, Asian medicine, nutrition, homeopathy, botanical medicine, and counseling. Dr. Wilkinson also provides her expertise in Naturopathic Medicine as a writer for MSN Canada and has appeared on the Steven & Chris Show. In addition to writing, Dr. Wilkinson enjoys adventure travels and has climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa. She also enjoys running, yoga, ballet and is a tai chi enthusiast.
